License your voice to CastDub's library with a revenue share, on terms that let you say no to specific uses and withdraw later. Applications are open; the programme is not live yet.
What we are trying to build
A voice library assembled from performers who agreed to be in it, were paid for the usage rather than bought out once, and can leave. That is not how most synthetic voice libraries were assembled, and the difference is the reason a lot of performers will not work with this industry at all.
Three commitments we are designing around. Usage-based payment with a statement you can check. Per-category opt-outs enforced by the system, so a performer who excludes political content cannot be used for it. And withdrawal with notice, so the arrangement is a licence rather than a sale.
None of this is signed yet. We are collecting applications and talking to the people who send them, because writing the terms first and then looking for signatures is how this goes wrong.
Who we are looking for first
Character range matters more than broadcast polish here. The library needs voices that are separable in an ensemble — distinct age bands, distinct energy, accents that are genuinely the performer's own rather than an impression. Non-English speakers are particularly welcome, since Japanese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean are the next four languages.

Is this programme live?
No. We are collecting applications and designing the terms with the people who apply, rather than publishing a contract and asking performers to accept it. Applying now means you help shape what it looks like.
How would payment work?
A revenue share based on how much your voice is actually used, paid monthly, with a statement showing the usage it was calculated from. Flat buyouts are the model performers object to most, and they are the model we are trying not to build.
Can I refuse specific uses?
That is the part we consider non-negotiable. A performer should be able to exclude categories — political content, adult content, advertising, whatever they choose — and those exclusions must be enforced by the system rather than by a clause nobody checks.
Can I withdraw my voice later?
Yes, with a notice period so that projects already in production are not broken mid-series. After the notice period the voice is removed from the library and cannot be assigned to new projects.
What do you need from me to apply?
A demo reel and a note about your range and your accents. You do not need to record anything specific for us at this stage, and we will not ask for a sample we could use to build a model before there is an agreement.
Why would a voice actor work with a synthesis company?
Honestly: some will not, and that is a reasonable position. The argument for it is that the work is happening regardless, and a library built from consenting, paid performers on transparent terms is a better outcome than one built from scraped audio. We would rather make that argument to you directly than pretend the tension does not exist.
